1. Save XO file of Deducto in a USB Flash drive from a personal computer/laptop. Attach the Flash drive to the XO laptop and turn on the XO. Locate the Flash drive directory in the terminal activity and install the rpm package using rpm –i <package_name>

2. Install the Deducto using Sugar-install-bundle <package_name>

3. The icon of Deducto will automatically appear in the home.

4. To remove the Flash drive go to terminal activity. Go to media and type

sudo umount <pendrive_name>

or go to journal, take the arrow on the pendrive icon below and click on the unmount.

[edit] Uninstall Deducto

To remove Deducto go to terminal activity of XO laptop and type the following commands

Cd Activities

Rm –r Deducto.activity
